Japanese Inspired

Konnichiwa ! ( Japanese for hello)  if you've read my blog before you may know I have a slightly obsessive love for Japanese things especially Japanese urban fashion.
The reason im saying all of this is because in my hunt around Zara I found this  long sleeved t-shirt with the Japanese flag on it and Japanese kanji writing on it. Of course I had to buy it !It came at a bargain sale price of 12.99 ! I love how casual and simple It is and also the fabric that feels like a polo neck which is pretty cool  but my favourite part is the  kanji writing which  adds to the urban  style. I don't actually know what the writing says but it looks cool so hey ho. Here is a picture of it and some more items  I found with Japanese writing on to inspire you guys. Sayonara ! ( goodbye)

short girl problems

Happy new year guys, hope you all had a great start to your year. on a less merry note I have a bone to pick with the makers of jeans in most stores. Why are there hardly any jeans available for short people! I am around 5ft 2 and a size 10 in jeans and it is such a challenge to find a  good fitting pair of jeans .Where are  all my short people at? who agrees or is it just me being picky?Firstly if i buy a size 10 they are too long still so i have to roll them up which in my opinion slightly ruins my look. then if i buy a size 8 the struggle to fit them over my bum and thighs,  its really not worth it. So not only do i have the problem of being short but of being a bit chunky on my bottom half !if anyone out there is an awesome jean designer i beg you create a line for us shorty's and you will be loved forever... rant over. On the other hand there are loads of positives of  being short so never feel down about your self simply because of your height or body shape, we are all beautiful !

Dealing with boxing day SALES!

Only a few hours away from Christmas ! Which means a day left till boxing day,so I bet all the bargain hunters out there are getting prepared for the shopping war zone! I decided to do a post on how to cope with boxing day and make the most of your money.

1. Plan what you want to buy!
This will save you so much more time, instead of wasting money buying something that you really don't need simply because its a great bargain ( we've all done it before) aim to buy what you set out to for example I need a new pair of jeans so ill be on the hunt for a good bargain but quality pair of jeans.

2. Be adventurous, and open minded
Often some clothes look better on, if you see something that could potentially look really good why not give it a go? Shopping is all about experimentation, and as far as im concerned fashion an art form. Art is a about creativity and expression so when your shopping find items that express you don't be afraid to go all out and be different!

3.Think logically
As fun as shopping can be, we all get pretty tired from all the mayhem but there are ways to avoid this. think before you go into a shop .Almost like any sport before you go onto the pitch or the court you have a game plan. Have a game plan before you go into a shop and  face the madness only to realise there was no real purpose of entering the store.

4. Online shopping is your best friend
The same items you can find in store can be found online and you can be in the comfort of your own home.Only advice I'd give for online shopping is be careful buying items you are not too sure of your size with for example im extremely picky with buying jeans because im short but fairly curvy.

4 tips that should help you shop better, best of luck guys, shop sensibly!

Fashion show !

Oh dear its been a while since I've blogged sorry guys ! Well I have some interesting news to tell, last Saturday I helped out at a charity fund raiser for Ebola and children's education which I think are both great causes. To my surprise I was asked to model in the fashion and it went really well! The clothes were  amazing all  made and designed by Neema if you want to see more check out her Instagram Neemz_k. Its got me thinking I'd love to start designing clothes again so we will  see how that goes.
Here are a few of the pictures I got to take, enjoy !

New Kicks :White air force's

Once again I have bought another pair of shoes, guys I need to stop... but I probably won't ! I've been pondering on whether to buy white air forces as they can sometimes look a bit typical and slightly chavy lets be honest .After looking in my wardrobe I realised I had quite a few items that would match very well with them to create more of an urban feel to my outfits, plus they are comfortable practical shoes that can be worn plenty of times  so I would say im making an investment! One issue  I have with white shoes is the hassle of keeping them clean.... sigh.Well an amazing item has been created to keep your kicks squeaky clean! All you do is spray it before and it makes it much easier  to simple wipe of the dirt .im not too sure what the name is but I shall find out for you!
Here are some cool pictures I found of white air forces and possible ways of wearing them. Enjoy

Alexander Wang x H&M

Panic moment, the count down for the Alexander Wang collection is over ! To be more specific it was over today at 9am (Thursday 6th November).A lot of chaos has been caused by the release of Wang's collaboration with H&M there were  massive queues outside H&M stores and the website crashed at one point due to the amount of people using it, to be honest im not surprised the clothing line is absolutely amazing and even inspiring any fashion lover would find some fascination in each item . Sadly me being the unorganised person I am, I  didn't buy the items I wanted  slightly before and now pretty much EVERYTHING  is sold out and im left feeling extremely disappointed . Lesson learnt, if you really want to buy an item that is new out be prepared and think ahead of time! If anyone managed to get anything I'd love to find out what you got !
Here's some pictures of the things I wanted and hopefully some how will get!

shoe update

Heyy guys, this is an update on an addition to my platform shoe collection! I've been looking for a new pair of platform boots for winter  and as you might know if you've read my blog before I love platform shoes. I bought these shoes from Select in Westfield's London such a good  bargain at £20. Plus  there fairly comfortable and best of all warm.
