H&M The New Neutrals

Evening everyone ! Recently all the staff at h&m in oracle had a meeting to discuss what will be included in the new season, this  means I can update you guys on what's currently trending. Our best selling item in h&m are neutral coloured jumpers. They are very light in material and great to just throw on and also if your going for a high fashion urban style. The colours for the new season are mostly neutral including beige  (the central colour)  browns, greys, creams and of course black and white. I actually really like the new collection it may seem a bit bland but theirs a lot you can do with neutrals. theirs this one jacket im in love with its like a bomber jacket but with light material pockets on the side and an eagle on the back( I'll put a picture at the bottom). you'll love this collection if your up for a modern classic and simple look. I feel the collection flows perfectly with the current winter trend with all the camel  coats and brown hats also it has lots of room for experimentation especially for people who like switching up their style often. All you need is a few of these key pieces to create a new and elegant look ready for spring, I can't wait to see the sun shine !
H&M described this collection as "Easy elegance of a neutral palette fused with modern cuts and silhouettes". This suits perfectly. Here are some of the items from the spring collection. Enjoy!

The Smith Siblings

This may be a weird post and possibly slightly controversial but for some reason I've been quite interested in both of them after checking out some of their music which I actually enjoyed. I really do think their interesting unique individuals but I've heard some people's opinions are the complete opposite. We can't deny that their style and fashion especially Willow is pretty cool. both of them look very earthy but at the same time futuristic, im not sure if that make sense but that's the beauty of it! as teenagers the are  trying to explore themselves and  getting a grip on life as we all are really. In fact they have inspired me to be who I am and not care what anyone thinks. Just because your young  doesn't mean you can't have your own thoughts and express yourself how you like.

Jordan Future

This is to all the shoe lovers including me of course.. I love playing sports especially basketball which gives me an excuse to buy trainers !Whether it be Jordan's, Nikes or Adidas its essential to own a pair of trainers. I've been searching old school and new released trainers and I'm falling in love all over again. Specifically Jordan Future, they are so beautifully designed I love the shape, the pattern and small details incorporated ,still staying true to the basketball inspired style, some of you may be thinking  "its not that deep their just trainers" ... stop right there ,they are  awesomely made trainers that deserve appreciation! I'm a passionate shoe lover but a massive cheapskate however  I'm so in love with these shoes I'm thinking of buying a pair ! Shout out to all the trainer lovers keeping their shoe game strong!

Under Grunge

Hey guy you may or may not know but me and my friend started designing t-shirts for a new brand we created  called Under Grunge last year. A lot happened that sort of ruined my plans for it but 2015 is the year to get things going! I started some new designs yesterday and realised how much I enjoy it there's no end to what you can create with fashion. I can't wait to see the results of how it all turns out. Nothings is impossible so why not start that project that you've always wanted to start !
Anyway here are some of the designs ,I'd love to hear your opinions so please let me know, thanks !

Japanese Inspired

Konnichiwa ! ( Japanese for hello)  if you've read my blog before you may know I have a slightly obsessive love for Japanese things especially Japanese urban fashion.
The reason im saying all of this is because in my hunt around Zara I found this  long sleeved t-shirt with the Japanese flag on it and Japanese kanji writing on it. Of course I had to buy it !It came at a bargain sale price of 12.99 ! I love how casual and simple It is and also the fabric that feels like a polo neck which is pretty cool  but my favourite part is the  kanji writing which  adds to the urban  style. I don't actually know what the writing says but it looks cool so hey ho. Here is a picture of it and some more items  I found with Japanese writing on to inspire you guys. Sayonara ! ( goodbye)

short girl problems

Happy new year guys, hope you all had a great start to your year. on a less merry note I have a bone to pick with the makers of jeans in most stores. Why are there hardly any jeans available for short people! I am around 5ft 2 and a size 10 in jeans and it is such a challenge to find a  good fitting pair of jeans .Where are  all my short people at? who agrees or is it just me being picky?Firstly if i buy a size 10 they are too long still so i have to roll them up which in my opinion slightly ruins my look. then if i buy a size 8 the struggle to fit them over my bum and thighs,  its really not worth it. So not only do i have the problem of being short but of being a bit chunky on my bottom half !if anyone out there is an awesome jean designer i beg you create a line for us shorty's and you will be loved forever... rant over. On the other hand there are loads of positives of  being short so never feel down about your self simply because of your height or body shape, we are all beautiful !

Dealing with boxing day SALES!

Only a few hours away from Christmas ! Which means a day left till boxing day,so I bet all the bargain hunters out there are getting prepared for the shopping war zone! I decided to do a post on how to cope with boxing day and make the most of your money.

1. Plan what you want to buy!
This will save you so much more time, instead of wasting money buying something that you really don't need simply because its a great bargain ( we've all done it before) aim to buy what you set out to for example I need a new pair of jeans so ill be on the hunt for a good bargain but quality pair of jeans.

2. Be adventurous, and open minded
Often some clothes look better on, if you see something that could potentially look really good why not give it a go? Shopping is all about experimentation, and as far as im concerned fashion an art form. Art is a about creativity and expression so when your shopping find items that express you don't be afraid to go all out and be different!

3.Think logically
As fun as shopping can be, we all get pretty tired from all the mayhem but there are ways to avoid this. think before you go into a shop .Almost like any sport before you go onto the pitch or the court you have a game plan. Have a game plan before you go into a shop and  face the madness only to realise there was no real purpose of entering the store.

4. Online shopping is your best friend
The same items you can find in store can be found online and you can be in the comfort of your own home.Only advice I'd give for online shopping is be careful buying items you are not too sure of your size with for example im extremely picky with buying jeans because im short but fairly curvy.

4 tips that should help you shop better, best of luck guys, shop sensibly!
