Japanese/ South korean street style

Happy New Year everyone  ! I'm back with my two favourite topics fashion and Japan ! ( of course I got love for south Korea too).For a long time I have been in love with street Fashion but as I discovered more about Japan specifically Tokyo I became more  and more intrigued by the diverse variations in style, all unique and  fabulous in their own way. Tokyo is now know as one of the world's fashion capitals and forgive me for being bias but its only growing bigger and better and I look forwards to contributing to the Japanese fashion industry in the future ! Currently one male that stands out to me in Japan who really represents the pure urban essence  of street fashion is Kohh ; an up and coming rapper you may most recognise from the now quite popular song " IT G MA" featuring both Korean and Japanese rappers which instantly drew me in and now im quite the fan of Kohh.

Don't worry ladies  I haven't  forget about the kawaii girls, pushing fashion boundaries seems to be the norm on the street of Harajuku Tokyo. From pretty pastels to gothic punk outfits  full of creativity, which to me comes from a places of not giving a damn about what anyone thinks and freely expressing your beautiful soul. I  really do love the combination of urban and grunge concepts I commonly see in Japanese street fashion!


 Now the reason why I included south Korea In an addition  is because after watching Korea's next top model I've kept up to date with my  favourite contestant Kim Jonghoon and also one of the judges won joong who both have immaculate dress sense and I suppose it helps that they are both super hot. I'm very interested in luxury men's sports fashion lately especially the clean minimalistic look which seems to be a popular trend growing in todays fashion industry. Simple, clean and urban is the way forward. Don't get me wrong I'm still into my grunge 90's fashion but its always good to mix things up. Who best to deliver this simple fashion than Korean model Sang Woo Kim. His sharp defined bone structure, clear skin  and tall and slim frame makes him  the perfect person to model simplistic clothes.

Outfit post :Culotte Trousers

Hello all ! its about  2.30 am right now and I suddenly remembered  I would upload an outfit post on my recent purchase .So here it is!For those of you who haven't  had a chance to check out my last post, I mentioned these cullotte trousers I'm rocking. Like I said in my previous post it was a risky purchase as I had never worn anything with a similar fit, so if anyone has some tips on the best way to wear them feel free to comment or get in touch with me ! I  decided to try both casual and slightly more dressed up just by changing the shoes . These adidas shoes change the outfit to a clean cut street style while the white platforms still have an urban edge they class things up a bit which we all love occasionally!

The high fashion wide leg

I'm back ! its been a while since I've written and I do apologise I've been extremely busy but I have to make time to do what I love so I will definitely be making more of an effort !

 

This Friday I treated my self to a small shopping trip limiting myself to just 2 items ! A warm grey high neck jumper and wide leg cropped trousers  both items that have got me all excited about fashion again !Every time I buy an item of clothing and I can picture several cool  outfits being created I feel its definitely a worth while purchase . I've always wanted a pair of trousers like these  they look super high fashion yet urban and casual. I  never felt confident enough to try wide leg  line trousers  because I'm pretty short and I just thought it wouldn't suit my figure BUT when I saw these in the sale section in H&M  for £5 and I couldn't resist trying them on. I took a few pictures in the changing room and as I haven't had a chance to take some real shots I will post the pictures I took below and some picture that inspired me.Eventually take some proper pictures showing how I styled it up !

The Jacket.

Hello everyone you may of noticed it's not me in the picture ! This is my wonderful best friend Serena. I wanted a chance to experiment with fashion photography and styling. This was not only great fun but we got some pretty cool shots featuring a few new items I had recently purchased. My favourite item is definitely the black scuba style jacket it just looks so cool and adds that clean minimalistic style!

Hello everyone hope we're all doing well and to all the A2 students keep working hard in no time we'll be out of education woo hang in ! Anyway pep talk over, here is a another outfit post for you guys I bought this American football  shirt that I am in love with from Harpers and Lewis which is a vintage shop  in Reading which sells grunge 90's style clothing.If I had the money I would buy everything in there !This shirt was on sale for 10 pounds and if you keep up with my blog you will know how I feel about a good old bargain. I love the fish net material that is used and also how its oversized like a proper American football shirt would be. I think its a really grungy but fun item I wore it to reading festival with a pair of shorts and of course wellies . I  shot these pictures with both black platform sandals and white air forces both have that 90's look but I feel the black sandals add a girly edge to the outfit. Grunge :monchrome and beige

Hey guys and girls I really have been slacking with my posts and I do apologise .I've had a lot on with college and the additional stress of applying to Uni now that I've decided not to take a gap year. But  if anyone is interested I might do an update post on how my journey into journalism is going.

Now about this outfit ! I know the weather here in England has bee shockingly awful but I took these pictures in summer and im just reminiscing over the sunny day when I could dress as I please with no worries of getting soaked. My favourite part of this outfit is definitely these platform white shoes I've worn them on so many occasions even on nights out when I want to look good but be comfortable and this  jacket  with a  beautiful bird sown on the back for that subtle detail but obviously you need the simple bits to complete the outfit with the jeans and stripped top which is by the way an off the shoulder top. Here are some more pictures for you to see the details of this outfit. until next time sayonara !
