90's grunge :Classic black

Hey guys I'm back again with another grunge outfit post. This one is one of the simplest outfits, never the less makes a statement. I really do love an all black outfits you really  can't go wrong and not because I claim it matches the colour of my soul as I've been seeing from cringy posts on Instagram or Tumblr posts ! To be honest I'm a fan of wearing all black also because it makes me look slimmer and come on we all need that helping hand. Also my septum piercing (which is unfortunately fake) is one of my favourite accessories at the moment it glams things up as well as adding a boho look . lastly im in love with the colour of my braids at the moment, one of my favourite hairstyles I think !

90's Grunge fashion :The turtleneck

Turtle neck -Charity shop
Mum jeans -Charity shop ( bargain of £1 with a little DIY!)
Buckle boots - New Look
Hello all so as I said I would be doing a few outfit posts over the next few weeks and this is the first one. This outfit has some key grunge pieces such as high waisted mum jeans, black buckle boots, and the fabulous turtle neck. These items paired together create a cool and casual look but with a dark lipstick ( I'm wearing Kat Von D  homegirl lipstick) it can add a little vavavoom to the look. This look also works with black jeans and a grey turtle neck and to be extra 90's add a vintage denim jacket!
Thanks for reading and would love to hear your thoughts, peace, love and grunge!

Back to 90's grunge

Hey guys I've been really bad with posting about fashion and I think I have rekindled my love for fashion. So here I am doing a post from a refreshed perspective. I think I started to lose sight of why I initially got into to fashion in the first place. Some of you may be thinking its not that serious but I think its a serious problem when you start to lose your passion.

I feel like I started to care about what was trending and looking " cool" but not really wearing clothes I was utterly in love with. I have a rule when I shop I can't buy anything unless Im in love with it ( excluding basics and essentials) lately I definitely have not really been following my own rule.
time to change things up hence the title im experimenting with a bit of grunge which is a style I have always loved also as reading festival is coming up  ( can't wait !) I've been thinking about fashion inspired by different music genres . I literally love all things 90' grunge.

here is some grunge inspiration  a lot I got from one of my favourite fashion bloggers Le Happy  enjoy I will also be doing a grunge outfits post with a few new items I have bought so look out for that, thanks for reading peace and love !

This is probably one of my favourite pictures I don't know why it really seems to capture the essence of grunge.

Jazz night: fashion show

Hello fashion lovers and blog readers ! So as you may know from my last post the jazz night on the 7th of august  and it went so well, there was a great turn out and we managed to raise around £810 all going to creating better futures charity . Also Emmanuel a finalist contestant from the voice came to perform and he honestly has the most beautiful voice of our generation I would recommend checking him out for any music lovers looking for inspiration.

Now to what I really wanted to discuss ! The fashion showww!! I am so glad I had the opportunity to freely express my vision  and reflect it within a fashion show . Also I'm so happy I got to do it with my best friend. I  can't lie it did get quite stressful as organising anything can be but I learnt a lot from this and hope to do it again some time. I learnt things such as how important it is to communicate clearly and repetitively if needed. Something that also became clear to me is that you have to be a an assertive person at some point, when you have an image in your mind just push it ahead and don't take no for an answer. Lastly take control ! Something I found slightly challenging as the models had lets say big personalities.

Massive thank you to everyone who came and the models!

and a cheeky selfie I took, peace and love people !
